Nicole Rampersaud is a Canadian born Trumpet Player and Composer currently based in Toronto, Canada.  She is a leader in both the Toronto scene and a member of a wide variety of music groups across Canada. She has collaborated with Anthony Braxton, Evan Parker, Rakalam Bob Moses, Marilyn Lerner, and Joe Morris, to name a few. She has also performed in some of the most prestigious venues in North America including: New York’s Lincoln Center, Berklee Performance Center in Boston, Massey Hall in Toronto, and The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto.


In addition to being a founding member of the improvising music trio, c_RL, Nicole has been performing and composing solo trumpet works since 2009 and has been recognized as an important, new voice in this area. She has been the recipient of multiple grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Ontario Arts Council.  Nicole maintains a busy performance schedule as a leader and side person with a broad range of projects. 



Nicole currently plays a Schilke Handcraft 2 Bb Trumpet and a Schilke 15 mouthpiece.
